Florence Pugh: Brightest young star

Her first Oscar nod: 'Little Women' (2019) - Pugh earned a Best Supporting Actress nod at the Oscars, losing only to her co-star Laura Dern.

Her Marvel entrance: 'Black Widow' (2021) - She co-starred alongside Scarlett Johansson in the Marvel film 'Black Widow,' where she played Yelena Belova, Natasha's "sister" from the Red Room.

She will not stand body-shaming - Pugh spoke out to share her own thoughts on the dress: “I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous.

She's had practice with horror in 'Malevolent' (2018) - In this horror flick, a brother-sister team who fabricate paranormal encounters for money have the joke turned on them.

Working with her idol on 'King Lear' (2018) - Pugh played Cordelia alongside greats like Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson, the latter of whom she idolized. 

Her first big break: 'The Falling' (2014) - Her first big break was co-starring alongside 'Game of Thrones' star Maisie Williams in 'The Falling.' 

She's been theatrical from a young age - Her first performance was playing Mary in her school's nativity play when she was six.

She will not change her appearance for a role - After getting the part, they began to ask her, in thinly veiled terms, to lose weight. Pugh bailed, and the pilot flopped.

First awards rolled in for 'Lady Macbeth' (2016) - Soon after, she landed the lead role of Lady Macbeth, where she remembers being "applauded for having normal bum cheeks." 

Her family is supportive and talented - She comes from a large, rambunctious family, which she says are "like the Von Trapps, but not quite as pretty or perfect.

She struggled with severe asthma as a child - Pugh spent a lot of time in the hospital as a young child due to her collapsed airways and severe asthma.

Her older brother was on 'Game of Thrones' - Pugh's older brother, Sebastian Toby M. Pugh, known as Toby Sebastian, played Trystane Martell.

She's also a musician - She is proficient in both guitar and piano, and she has also written her own songs.

Nudity and curves are not a problem for her - She explained in an interview that she had grown up watching European films with nudity done beautifully. 

Relationship with Zach Braff -
Though they split in 2022, the pair had been together for around three years, and somewhat scandalously.

Upcoming projects -
Pugh also joined Christopher Nolan's upcoming film 'Oppenheimer' alongside Rami Malek and Benny Safdie.
