Ellen DeGeneres - The talk show host comes from Metairie, Louisiana. She also grew up in Texas for a while, but returned to her home state to attend college in New Orleans.

Steve Martin - Martin is so Southern that he plays the banjo really well! He was born in Waco, Texas, but has neutralized his accent over time.

Julia Roberts - This pretty woman exudes Southern charm. She hails from Smyrna, Georgia.

George Clooney - You wouldn't guess it from his accent, but George Clooney was born in Lexington, Kentucky. His mother was a beauty queen and his father a news anchor.
