The most misquoted movie lines

'Dirty Harry' (1971) -
Clint Eastwood's character never actually said "Do you feel lucky, punk?"

'And Justice for All' (1979) -
Al Pacino's character never says "I'm out of order? You're out of order! This whole court's out of order!" 

'Titanic' (1997) -
How many of us have shouted "I'm king of the world!" aboard a boat? 

'Mommie Dearest' (1981) -
The misquote is "No more wire hangers, ever!" Though what was actually said was "No wire hangers! No wire hangers ever!"

'Planet of the Apes' (1968) -
The line "Get your stinkin' paws off me, you damn dirty ape!"

'Forrest Gump' (1994) -
Forrest Gump doesn't say, "Mama always used to say, 'Life is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you're gonna get.'"

'Stagecoach' (1939) -
There is a misquote associated with John Wayne in two movies: 'Stagecoach' (1939) and 'Hondo' (1953). 

'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' (1937) -
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"

'Field of Dreams' (1989) -
Kevin Costner's character hears a voice saying "If you build it, he will come." 

'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' (2001) -
"Run, you fools!" was never said by Gandalf. The correct quote is actually "Fly, you fools."

'Cool Hand Luke' (1967) -
The misquote is "What we have here is a failure to communicate." 

'Apocalypse Now' (1979) -
Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore never said "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like victory." 

'Hondo' (1953) -
And guess what? The actor doesn't say that line in  'Hondo' either. The actual quote is "A man ought'a do what he thinks is best."
