UNDP:- United Nations Development Programme
UNDP stands for the United Nations Development Programme. UNDP strives for change and wants countries to connect to knowledge, experience, and resources to help people build a better life. UNDP also provides its expert advice, training and grants support to developing countries. It gives the highest emphasis on providing assistance to the least developed countries. UNDP aims at accomplishing Sustainable Development Goals and also to encourage global development. UNDP’s main focus areas are poverty reduction, HIV/AIDS, democratic governance, energy and environment, social development and crisis prevention and recovery. It also endeavors in encouraging the protection of human rights and the empowerment of women in all the programmes related to UNDP. The Human Development Report Office of the UNDP brings out an annual Human Development Report to measure and analyze development progress.
